As a member of this community, I wanted to give back in a way that came naturally to me and still had a positive vibe. The annual Durham, Be Easy brings together all walks of life in the heart of downtown Durham to enjoy arts and entertainment. Each year Dasan Ahanu and I hope that the DBE reflects this growing community, celebrates its diversity, and highlights great music coming from this area.
DBE’s mission is to spread a message of social change while encouraging creative expression as a way to promote a sense of community and reinforcing the positive effects of building a stimulating and relaxed environment in Durham. Join and enjoy the DBE as it continues to bring out more talent and bring Durham together.
